Entries are now open for the East Midlands Beginners Intermediates and Juniors competition, taking place on Saturday 26th November at the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, Nottingham Trent University, Clifton. This is a competition specifically aimed at beginner fencers, where you’ll be competing against people in your age group with the same kind of level of experience. For juniors, there is a foil competition for under 10’s, all three weapons (epee, foil and sabre) for under 13’s and both beginner and intermediate competitions for 13+.
If you plan to enter the competition, please do so as soon as possible!

You will need to buy or borrow breeches from the club and supply your own knee-length socks – please let us know at practice as soon as possible if you don’t have breeches and plan to enter the competition, so we can organise something! Other kit and equipment can be borrowed for the day but you must organise with us whether you are collecting it from practice on Friday 25th or if you need someone to bring it to the venue. Nothing will be available for anyone who has not done this!
