The Mercia Novice Open is taking place on Saturday 23rd July, at Allestree Woodlands School in Derby.
This is an epee and foil competition (sorry, no sabre this time around!) being run on a recreational basis, so it’s open to fencers with Recreational or Compete memberships of British Fencing. We particularly would love to see first-time competitors here, as we’re looking to run 2 rounds of poules before everyone advances to the DE round, so you should get plenty of fencing!
